She was predeceased by: her parents, Clifford Elmore and Carrie Elmore (Vickers); and her former husband Ken. She is survived by: her husband Wilgus; her children, Ken Shimmel Jr. (Rhoda), Kimberly Gay (Greg) and Juanita Summerfield (Steve); her brothers, Ralph Elmore, Glen Elmore (Chris), Larry Elmore and Eddie Elmore (Donna); her grandchildren, Chloe Butler, Carrie Munsell, Mathew Munsell, Randy Williams, James Sisson, Sheila Sisson, Joyce Balzer and Jessica Osborne; and her great grandchildren, Mathew, Jaydon and Talluiah. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
