He was predeceased by: his father Leo Prince; his brother David Prince; and his nephew Craig. He is survived by: his mother Barbara Prince (Johns); his wife Laurel Lee (Dhyne); his sons, Nathan Prince (Ariel) and Kevin Prince (Amanda); his mother-in-law Laurel Ann Dhyne; his brothers, Richard Prince (Nancy), Donald Prince (Judy) and Reuben Prince (Jennifer); his brothers-in-law, Todd Dhyne (Bonnie) and Keith Dhyne (Dee); his sisters, Deborah Young, Doreen Warden (Brian) and Darlene; his sister-in-law Debi Post (Brian); his grandchildren, Rowan, Orion, Braxton and Abigail; and his close friends, Lloyd Saunders (Jill) and Bob Duquette (Mary). He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
He served as vice president on the Chamber of Commerce Skidway Lake area for a time and also the Rocky Mountain Elk Foundation assisting for the care and protection of Northern Michigan's elk herds.
