He was predeceased by: his parents, Dale Kennedy and Eleanor Kennedy (Dingman); and his siblings, Marilyn, Judy, Denny and Randy.
He is survived by: his wife Della; his children, Christine (Mark), Pastor Doug Jr. (Kim) and Tamburie (Ron); his adoptive daughter Penny; his brother Don (Sally); and also Doug Kennedy Jr.. He is also survived by 18 grandchildren and 19 great grandchildren.
