He was predeceased by: his parents, George Gawne and Lois Gawne (McLean); his brothers, Ronald and Larry; his siblings-in-law, Larry, Harry and Sharon; and his stepmother Carlea.
He is survived by: his wife Jean; his children, Randy (Deborah), Richard (Jacqueline), Robert (Susan) and Renée (Anthony); his brother Jim (Lealla); his sisters-in-law, Kay, Sandy and Sonna; his stepsister Carol; his grandchildren, Jessica, Melissa (KC), John (Irene), Christopher (Rachael), Cameron (Lindsey), Logan, Connor (Brooke) and Presley; his great grandchildren, Nicole, Samantha, Phoenix, Kenlie, Kyren, Jaelyn and Lucy; and his friends, Jim, Judy, Jenn and Linda. He is also survived by many loving nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, donations to Alzheimer's research will hopefully lead to prevention or a cure.
