Doreen P. Stein Obituary
We are sad to announce that on October 19, 2020, at the age of 83, Doreen P. Stein of Powers, Michigan, born in Detroit, Michigan passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband Robert Justin Stein; and her son Edward. She is survived by: her children, Bob, Anne, Dan (Lynnette), Tim (Michelle), Matt, Mary and Jason; and her siblings, Frank Tyrrell (Barb) and Marilyn Nolan. She is also survived by eight grandchildren, numerous nieces and nephews.
Social distancing and mask wearing will be enforced. Due to illness, Doreen spent the last several months in a nursing home, unable to receive visitors due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
In lieu of flowers, Doreen would want you to use your resources to ensure candidates up and down the ticket are elected to office who support science, education and universal health care.
