He was predeceased by: his parents, Richard Wayne Hughes and Cora Agnes Hughes; his niece Chelsea Marie Barker; and his grandparents, Harold, Thelma Hughes, Wilbur and Beatrice Fields.
He is survived by: his sisters, Debra Hughes, Sharon Frischman (Howard), Diana Crittenden (Gary) and Lois Buchanan (Barry); his nieces, Erica Dethloff (Alex) and Katelyn Buchanan; his nephew Ken Buchanan; his great-niece Hadlee Frischman; his great-nephews, Oliver Dethloff and Jayce Buchanan; and his stepmother Sharon R. Hughes. He is also survived by his stepbrother and stepsisters, aunts and uncles and cousins.
