He was predeceased by: his wife Evelyn; his daughter Diane Jean; and his granddaughter Kelly Jean Van Fossen. He is survived by: his parents, Donald Fossen and Verl Van Fossen; and his children, Richard Van Fossen II (Theresa), Michael Van Fossen and Rocky Point Drive. He is also survived by 7 grandchildren; 10 great grandchildren; numerous nieces, nephews, and friends.
