She was predeceased by: her parents, Sylvestre Lozano and Eulalia Lozano (Martinez); her husband Ruben; her son Carlos Daniel Chavez; her son-in-law Donald Hoag II; and her siblings, Sylvestre Lozano, Raul Lozano, Sisto Lozano, Virginia Garza, Gloria Soliz and Pedro Maldonado.
She is survived by: her family Potterville; her children, Ruben Chavez Sr., Guadalupe Hoag, Sylvia Jolly (Ray), David Chavez (Yvonne), Armando Chavez, MaryHelen Wheeler (Terry), Catalina Jones and Manuel Chavez (Meg); and her sisters, Lucy Rendon and Rosa Garcia. She is also survived by 24 grandchildren, 41 great-grandchildren, and 1 great-great-grandchild.
