She was predeceased by: her former husbands, Leland Knowles Sr. and Vern Hilton; her husband Norman Waters; her sister Wanda Arens; her parents, Donna Hale and Howard Hale; and her sons, Leland Jr., William and Leonard.
She is survived by: her children, Lisa Knowles (Mark), Jeff Knowles, April Hilton, Ashley Hilton and Michael Hilton (Erica); her grandchildren, Megan, Gabriel, Lilia, Isaac, Roberto, Cyrus, Nicholas and Tati; her brother Keith Hale; and her nieces, Tammie Hurst and Debbie Crego.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be directed to the family to help with final arrangements.
