He was predeceased by: his son Joshua Heminger; his parents, Margaret Sabin and Russell Heminger; and his sister Sherry Heminger-Reed. He is survived by: his former wife Susan Heminger (Gross); his children, Kristalynn Heminger (Mark Davarn), Jessica Elliott (Brian) and Nicholas Heminger (Shannon Lyday); his grandchildren, Cynthia, Connor, Ayden, Noah, Avery, Mitchel and Emmet; his stepmother Sandra Heminger; and his siblings, Pam Hoyt (Bill), Brian Heminger (Brenda), Les Heminger, Vida Heiss (Jerry), Lieu Sabin (Lisa) and Angie Fisher (Ed). He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, January 4th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Portland VFW.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Forgotten Eagles in his memory.
