He was predeceased by: his mother Lucy DeVoe; and his brother Keith Pier. He is survived by: his wife Bonnie L. Pier (O'Connor); his sons, Tadd Pier (Peggy) and Aaron Pier (Dawn); his grandchildren, Miles, Zachary, Wesley and Cassidy Pier; and his brothers, Delbert and Robert Pier.
