John Patrick Manning Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of John Patrick Manning of Portland, Michigan, who passed away on January 16, 2025, at the age of 80, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Donald Manning and Florelle Manning (Morelle); his daughter Amy Manning; and his brother Michael Manning. He is survived by: his sons, Vince Manning (Colleen), Derek Manning (Jamie) and Ben Manning; his grandchildren, Marissa Manning, Isabella O'Dell, Greyson Manning, Evelyn Manning, Sawyer Manning and Rhys Davis; his former wife Cathy Clark; and his siblings, Nancy Schueller (Larry) and Steven Manning. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, January 21st 2025 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Lehman Funeral Homes (210 E Bridge St, Portland, MI 48875). A rosary was held on Tuesday, January 21st 2025 at 7:00 PM at the same location. A Mass of Christian burial was held on Wednesday, January 22nd 2025 at 11:30 AM at the St. Patrick Catholic Church (520 W Grand River Ave, Portland, MI 48875). A committal service was held on Wednesday, January 22nd 2025 at 12:30 PM at the Portland Cemetery (950 E Bridge St, Portland, MI 48875).
