We are sad to announce that on October 21, 2023, at the age of 79, John L. Clarey Jr. of Portland, Michigan passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, John Clarey and Kathleen McNamara Clarey; his wife Vicki; his children, Kelly Blake (Patrick), John Clarey (Lisa) and Colleen Clarey (Jeff); his grandchildren, Tyler Blake (Kiley), Kelsey Newman (Alex), Katie Blake, Chloe Lambert, Chet, Elizabeth Parks and Hunter Simon; his great grandchildren, Holden, Zoey Blake, Rosie and Myla Newman; his siblings, Ann Anderson (Jack), Katie Valenti (Sam), Patly Clarey-Konzen and Tim Clarey (Kathi); his in-law Sue Allerding (Steven); and also, Tom and Julie Seitters. He was also cherished by several cousins, nieces, nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the charity of your choice or to the Portland Athletic Boosters in memory of Jock.
