It is with great sadness that we announce the death of James Ralph Watts Sr. (Portland, Michigan), born in Nichols, South Carolina, who passed away on January 31, 2022, at the age of 84, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Wilford Watts and Mae Belle Watts; his parents-in-law, Leon and Ruth Hilton; and his sister Bobbie Jean Watts.

He is survived by: his children, Cindy Scheurer, Jody Watts (Brenda), Becky Conlon (Steve) and Melissa Torp (Mark). He is also survived by 10 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren.
