He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parent Jesse Sims; his children, Kenneth Covington (Muskegon), Keith Covington (Muskegon), Kay Goodemoot (Timothy) of Portland, MI and Karen Glockzin (Louis) of Jenison; his brother Darryl Sims; his cousins, Jerry Daniels, Tommy Wofford, Larry Jo Wofford and Harry Mitchell; his close friend Thelma Curtis; his wife Alice Covington; his parent Jessie Covington; his siblings, Charles Sims and Shirley Devrou; and his grandson Keith Covington, Jr.. He was also cherished by 9 grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; 1 great- great grandchild.
Due to COVID-19 restrictions, the funeral home is allowed 25 guests in the building at a time.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial donations be made to Hospice of Michigan and Central United Methodist Church.
