It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Frederick B. Proctor Jr. of Portland, Michigan, who passed away on April 7, 2025, at the age of 74, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Frederick B. Proctor, Sr. and Marlys Proctor (Longwell); and his in-laws, Joseph, Julianne Lenneman, David, Joyce Lenneman and Daniel Lenneman.
He is survived by: his wife Ruth Proctor (Lenneman); his son Eric; his siblings, Vickie Huhn (Ken) and Greg Proctor; and his in-laws, Kevin Lenneman (Julie), Patty Lenneman, Mary Lou Simon (Paul) and Shirley Smith (Bob). He is also survived by many cousins, nieces, nephews, friends.
Visitation was held on Friday, April 11th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM, from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Saturday, April 12th 2025 at 10:00 AM. A funeral service was held on Saturday, April 12th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Lehman Funeral Homes (210 E Bridge St, Portland, MI 48875).
For those desiring, memorial contributions may be made to the Portland VFW Post 4090, in memory of Frederick B. Proctor, Jr. A luncheon will follow at the VFW.
