She was predeceased by: her husband Hanley "Hank" Schalow; her former husband Elwood King; her son Sam Schalow; and her children-in-law, Robert McWilliams and Sharon Schalow.
She is survived by: her children, Robert Schalow, Suzie McWilliams and Lorrie Nichols (Ron); her stepchildren, Marlene Seifert, Alana Lord and Rod Vedder (Mary Ann); and her brother Fred Moon. She is also survived by 5 grandchildren; 8 great-grandchildren; and 10 great-great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Portland Fire Department in memory of Evelyn.
