He was predeceased by: his father Bob Platte. He is survived by: his son Colin Platte; his mother Beverly Platte; his siblings, Pam Kavanagh (Bill) and John Platte; and his close friend Pam Palmer. He is also survived by numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews.
