He is survived by: his wife Toni; his children, Steve (Melanie), Kevin (Nate Leale), Nick (Katey) and Kristin Silberman (Stephen); his grandchildren, CJ Miller, Hunter DeMull, Easton, Brady Miller, Wyatt, Cooper Silberman and Makayla Miller; his siblings, James Miller, Peg Keilen, Alice Bengel (Rich), Jerry Miller (Elaine), Mary Sandborn (Jack), Kathy Walker (David), Junior Miller (Ann), JoAnn Anthony (Matt) and Jean Miller; and his in-laws, Craig Hoppes, Bonnie Rockey (Bob), Michelle Nurenberg (David), Kirk Hoppes (Michele), Victor Hoppes, Becky Hodge (Scott), Kristina Platte (Dan) and Marian Hoppes.
Visitation was held on Monday, January 13th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Lehman Funeral Homes (210 E Bridge St, Portland, MI 48875). A rosary was held on Monday, January 13th 2025 at 3:30 PM at the same location. A Mass of Christian burial was held on Tuesday, January 14th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the St. Patrick Catholic Church (520 W Grand River Ave, Portland, MI 48875). A committal service was held on Tuesday, January 14th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the Portland Cemetery (950 E Bridge St, Portland, MI 48875).
