He was predeceased by: his parents, Thiel Blakely and Catherine Blakely. He is survived by: his wife Sharon (Haagsma); and his children, Edna, Sarah (Jacob) and Philip (Melissa). He is also survived by 8 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Friday, January 24th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:30 PM at the Langeland Family Funeral Home (411 E Centre Ave, Portage, MI 49002). A funeral service will be held on Friday, January 24th 2025 at 12:30 PM at the same location. A graveside service will be held on Friday, January 24th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Mt Ever-Rest Memorial Park South (3941 S Westnedge Ave, Kalamazoo, MI 49008).
