Age 64 of Portage. passed away on Saturday morning, December 28, 2024. Tim was born in Kalamazoo on October 18, 1960, the son of William Lee and Sandra Kay (Champion) Gormley, Sr. Tim was a graduate of Portage Central High School and Kalamazoo Valley Community College. He worked for over 30 years in the construction industry as a master plasterer and drywaller. He was an avid motorcyclist. He also enjoyed mechanics, landscaping and anything to do with construction. Tim was a committed Christian and found great love and satisfaction in knowing Christ. He loved his church family at Berean Baptist Church. Tim is survived by his children, Timothy Jay Gormley Jr., Christopher Thomas James Gormley, Tabatha Erin Marie Gormley, Max Hite; grandchildren, Liam Gormley, Keelan Gormley, Sylver Gormley; his mother, Sandra Wise; sisters, Jacqueline Kay Barber and Ginger Rae Kalleward; and brother, Thomas Patrick Gormley; several nieces and nephews; and many friends. Tim was preceded in death by his father; brother, William Lee Gormley; and his step-father, Harry Lee Wise.
