It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Robert Lee Holmes in Portage, Michigan, born in Dresden, Ohio, who passed away on October 10, 2022, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. He is survived by: his wife Dorothy Holmes of Covington, IN; his children, Deb Proxmire (Paul) and Jon Proxmire (Meg); his grandchildren, Kaylin and Grady; his son Steve Holmes (Brenda); his granddaughter Katie Ringer (Tyler); his great grandchildren, Stryder and Willow; his sister MaryJane Walton; his nieces and nephews, Danny Holmes, Greg Boynton, Cathy Black and Julie Keys; and also Sarah Holmes.
