He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Jonathan Yonke and Freda Yonke (Kriewall); his children, Richard Paul Yonke, Susan Lynn Lovely and Steven Wayne Yonke (Brenda); his grandsons, Brandon (Kaitlyn) and Jacob Yonke; and his wife Marilyn.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to Centrica Care Navigators (formerly Hospice Care of Southwest Michigan) or St. James Evangelical Lutheran Church.
