It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Phillip Alfred Lawrence Jr. of Portage, Michigan, born in Kalamazoo, Michigan, who passed away on January 25, 2022, at the age of 56, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his sister-in-law Sheri VanderLugt. He is survived by: his mother Susan Lawrence; his wife Beth Owen (Roberts); his children, Monica Risch (Cody), Jonathan Phillip Lawrence and Megan Leigh (Jason); his stepchildren, Trevor Owen and Madison Owen; his father Phillip, Sr. Lawrence; his brothers, Todd Lawrence (Pareena) and Greg Lawrence (Debbie); his parents-in-law, David and Leslee Roberts; his brothers-in-law, Steve Roberts (Pam) and Phil VanderLugt; and his grandfather-in-law Phyllis Smith. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins, and extended family.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Angel Tree, Family Radio, or the Discover the Book Ministries.
