It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Philip Harold Herron of Portage, Michigan, born in Tunnel Hill, Georgia, who passed away on November 25, 2022, at the age of 77, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his father Hazen Herron; and his brother Hazen Eugene Herron. He is survived by: his wife Lois Herron; his children, Scott Herron (Amanda), Elizabeth Etheridge (Richard), Andrea Herron (Steven Bell) and Michele Clapp (Michael); his grandchildren, Samantha Herron, Morgan Clapp, Mason Clapp, Richard Etheridge, Matthew Etheridge, Justin Etheridge, Brandon Etheridge and Zachary Etheridge; his sisters, Sylvia Terry and Cledith Dowty; and his niece Amanda.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Kalamazoo Loaves and Fishes.
