He was predeceased by: his parents, John Medema and Henrietta Medema (Smit); his siblings, Bern, Herm, Janet and Marilyn; and his sisters-in-law, Dorothy Medema and Myra Medema.
He is survived by: his wife Irene (Thomas); his children, Lorri Clark and Dan Medema; his granddaughters, Amy Winkel and Mary Brown; his great grandchildren, Nathan, Dustin, Keegan, Blake and Brooklyn; and his brothers, John Medema and Ken Medema (Karen). He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Memorials may be directed to St. Jude Children's Hospital or the First Reformed Church of Portage.
