She was predeceased by: her parents, Henry Tormala and Lili Tormala; and her husband Gary "Papa" Soumis. She is survived by: her son-in-law Roger Hyrkas; her siblings, Ruth Tormala, Lucille Rocchi (late Al Rocchi), Paul Tormala (Carolyn) and Howard Tormala (Mona); her stepsons, Mark Nordstrom, Steve Nordstrom and Kevin (Davina); her stepparents, Kourtney Moore (David) and Kyle Nordstrom; her grandchild Venn Keranen (Maggie); her great grandchildren, Kevin, Ellie Keranen, Fields Soumis Hyrkas (Tiffany Lam), Willow Soumis Hyrkas and Zane Keranen; her stepgranddaughter Shawna Bertram (Jeremy); her grandchildren, Griffyn, Jasper Bertram, McKinlee, Carter and Nova Moore; and also Kollin Nordstrom.
