It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Kathleen Hartman of Portage, Michigan, born in Kalamazoo, Michigan, who passed away on April 12, 2021, at the age of 71, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Peter VanderRoest and Marie VanderRoest (Lent). She is survived by: her husband Jack Hartman; her children, Chris Hyman, Justin Hyman (Amanda), Bridget Hartman, Erich Hartman (Ashley Harris) and Josh Hartman (Lacie); and her sisters, Karen Medema (Ken) and Marie Smith (John). She is also survived by three grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Hospice Care of Southwest Michigan.
