Karen N. Wahl Obituary

With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Karen N. Wahl of Portage, Michigan, born in Martins Ferry, Ohio, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. Karen left this world on March 23, 2025 at the age of 80, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

She was predeceased by: her husband Kenneth Wahl; her parents, Margaret Powelson (Williamson) and Warren Powelson; and her brother Warren Dale Powelson (Mary Ellen). She is survived by: her sons, Matthew (Trish), Daniel (Melanie), Brian (Elsa) and Brad (Theresa); and her siblings, Willard "Bud" Powelson (Lena), Sharen Cheesman (Powelson) and David "Joe" Powelson (Linda). She is also survived by her 13 grandchildren, and 3 great-grandchildren.

Visitation was held on Friday, April 4th 2025 from 9:30 AM to 10:30 AM at the Grace Lutheran Church (9685 E River Rd, Elyria, OH 44035). A funeral service was held on Friday, April 4th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the same location. A burial was held on Friday, April 4th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the Resthaven Memory Gardens (3700 Center Rd, Avon, OH 44011).
