Judith A. Creager Obituary
The Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Tuesday, February 4, 2025, at 11:00 a.m. at St. Thomas More Catholic Parish, 421 Monroe St., Kalamazoo. Friends may call on the family on Monday, February 3, 2025, from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at Joldersma & Klein Funeral Home, 917 S. Burdick St., Kalamazoo. A Rosary will be held at 6:30 p.m. Judy will be laid to rest at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery, Southfield. Memorial contributions may be made to Center Stage Theatre of Kalamazoo, in c/o the funeral home.
Age 79 of Portage and formerly of Port Huron, passed away early Wednesday morning, January 29, 2025. Judy was born in Detroit, MI on December 12, 1945, the daughter of John Eberhard and Renelda Ursula (Moore) Marx. Judy graduated from Nazareth College with a degree in Education. Judy was a lifelong schoolteacher. She taught elementary school in several districts and also operated a day care program out of her own home. Most of her life was dedicated to raising her own children. She was an avid reader and was a Detroit Red Wings fan. Judy loved going to see her grandchildren in their theatre and musical productions. Her devotion to supporting them is what kept her going. Judy was a devoted Catholic and was faithful in attending Mass. Judy is survived by her children, Carol (James) Alber of Spring Arbor, Scott (Jen) Creager of Avoca, Karen (Josiah) Bildner of Portage; grandchildren, Caleb Bildner and Johannah Bildner; sister, Kathleen (Ron) Nagy; nephew, John (Brandy) Marx; great-nieces and nephews; and many friends. Judy was preceded in death by her parents; and her former husband Nicholas Creager. Judy's family would like to thank her many caregivers over the years.
