With heavy hearts, we announce the death of John Russell Strong of Portage, Michigan, who passed away on August 6, 2023 at the age of 85. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Harry R. Strong and Arleene Osterhout Strong; his siblings, Harry Strong, Paul Strong, Amy Strong Smith and Ruth Ann Strong Brown; his wife Letha Kuiper; and his sons, John H. Strong, Anthony B. Strong and Robert Charles Strong.
In lieu of flowers, those wishing to offer expressions of sympathy are encouraged to make a Memorial Donation in John's honor to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place Memphis, TN 38105.
