It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of James Lemmer (Portage, Michigan), who passed away on August 3, 2021, at the age of 95, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, August Lemmer and Wilhelmina Lemmer; and his siblings, Joyce Brown, Jean Brooks and John Lemmer.
He is survived by: his wife Marian Jean Lemmer (Kalee); his children, Doug Lemmer (Mary), Dennis Lemmer (Amy), Donn Lemmer (Sharron) and Debra Youngblood (Brian); his brother Joel Lemmer (Jan); and his brothers-in-law, John Brooks and Bill Kalee. He is also survived by 11 grandchildren; 22 great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Kalamazoo Christian School Association or the Singing Crusaders Male Chorus.
