With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Henry Junior Visser (Portage, Michigan), who passed away on December 25, 2024 at the age of 99. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Jacob Visser and Johanna Visser (Zoet); his siblings, Arvin, Jack, Delmar, Harvey Visser, Elaine Petroelje and Alberta Otten; and his grandson Skyler Visser.
He is survived by: his wife Jayne Baker (Jaynes); his children, Tim Visser, Julie Phelps (Jerry) and Katie Stryker-Clark (Jeff); his grandchildren, Jessica Moan, Nick Buford, Lisa Grabemeyer, Calin Visser, Amanda Clark, Claire Stryker, Chelsea Kuyper, Steven Stryker and Jolie Bierenga; his sisters, Betty Mulder (Dale) and Janice Frederickson-Drake (Denny); his siblings-in-law, Bill Baker and Wanda Baker; his close friend Dean Bachelor; and his caregivers, Mary, Nicole, Caroline, Julie, Lisa, Alicia, Carmen, Tyler, Logan, Henry and Jayne. He is also survived by 14 great-grandchildren, numerous nieces, nephews, cousins.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made in Henrys honor to the Kalamazoo Dream Center (https://kzoodreamcenter.org) (where both Henry and Jayne volunteered for years) or Centrica Care Navigators (Hospice).
