With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Helen R. Nelson of Portage, Michigan, born in Kalamazoo, Michigan, who passed away on August 7, 2022 at the age of 96. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Nanno Hazelhoff and Dorothy Hazelhoff (Jacobs); her husband Harry Nelson, Jr.; and her siblings, John "Bud", Ann and Jean.
She is survived by: her daughters, Ruth (Bob) and Donna; her grandsons, Justin (Brittany) and Dan; her great grandchildren, Haley and Sophie; and her pet Millie. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
