He was predeceased by: his parents, Bernard Ellwood and Rita Ellwood (Mailloux); his wife Toni Ellwood (Hubbard); his daughter Kenzie Ellwood; and his brothers, Bill, Ken and Thomas.
He is survived by: his children, Jillian Ellwood (Ben Kochenderfer), Gordie Ellwood, Nicole O'Hara and Mandy Ritter (Chris); his grandchildren, Alex (Audrey), Olivia (Bernardo Simoes), Sophie, Matthew, Teague, Vincent and Rowan; his great grandchildren, Anderson, Asher, Luca and Ari; his brothers, John (Nancy), Jim (Karen), Steve (Andrea) and Bob (Jenny); and his sister-in-law Lee Ann. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Memorial contributions may be given in Gordon's memory to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
