Garret Mejeur Obituary

With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Garret Mejeur (Portage, Michigan), born in Kalamazoo, Michigan, who passed away on November 1, 2021 at the age of 92. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Hemmo Mejeur and Cora Mejeur (DeVries); his daughter Shirley Mejeur; his wife Irene Evelyn Kiel; and his sisters, Anne DeVries, Ruth Kuiper, Renetta Jager and Emma Brinks.

He is survived by: his daughters, Sharon Wagner (John), Susan Jepkema (Bruce) and Sandy Mulder (Scott). He is also survived by seven grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.

For everyone's safety, the family requests that masks be worn and social distancing be observed during the visitation and service.
