With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Evelyn Eileen Petsinger of Portage, Michigan, born in Neche, North Dakota, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on May 12, 2024 at the age of 91. Though Evelyn Eileen may no longer walk beside us, her memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Evelyn Eileen touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In her absence, her spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
She was predeceased by: her parents, William Lembke and Ottilga Lembke; her husband Lyle O. Petsinger; her daughter Dora Shea; and her siblings, Rudolf Lembke, Dorthy Panasuk and Madeline Reimer.
She is survived by: her son Michael Petsinger (Elaine Amaya) of Mattawan, MI; her son-in-law Robert M. Shea of St. Peters, MO; and her sister Helen Jackson of Fargo, ND..
