She was predeceased by: her parents, David Arpasi and Lottie Arpasi (Smudzinski); her husband John Bencsics; and her siblings, Anette, Shirley and David.
She is survived by: her children, Ellen Heitger of Portage, MI and John Bencsics (Mary Coursey) of Battle Creek, MI.; and her grandchildren, Emily Cahill, Ian Bencsics, Austin Bencsics and Teagan Van Winkle. She is also survived by four great-grandchildren.
