It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Ernest Charles Rose of Portage, Michigan, born in Kalamazoo, Michigan, who passed away on July 11, 2022, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Charles Rose and Eleanor Rose (House); his children, Larry Rose and Debora Kersten (Sherman); his grandchildren, Jason Kersten (Amanda) and Keisha Kersten; his great grandchildren, Lucas, Jackson, Johnathan and Kairi; and his brother Edward "Burt" Rose. He was also cherished by several nieces and nephews.
Memorials may be directed to the Alzheimer's Association or Zion Lutheran Church.
