She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Matthew Mauer and Elizabeth Mauer (Kalinowski); her brothers, Dr. Ed Mauer of Illinois and Matt Mauer of Scottville; her pet Schatzi; her children, Nancy (Terry Haas), Dr. James (Mary Simonds), David Simonds of Portage, John (Anita Simonds) and Mary (Kent Matthews); her grandchildren, Justin Matthews (Rikki), Sara Janssen (Chad), Jack Simonds, Derek Haas, Kevin Simonds, Aleks Helsel (Hunter), Dan Simonds, Elizabeth Matthews (Jason Mais), Erika Simonds (Dennis Hoekzema), Luke Simonds, Shelby Simonds, Emily Matthews, Jake Simonds and Matthew Simonds; her great grandchild Ace Matthews (Baby Helsel); her siblings, Michael, Julie Mauer of Belmont, Barbara Mauer of Parchment, Richard and Sharon Mauer of Parchment; and her sisters-in-law, Barbara Redmond of Kalamazoo, Nancy Mauer of Scottville and Jean Mauer of South Barrington, IL.
