Elizabeth Geib Obituary
We are sad to announce that on June 19, 2022, at the age of 92, Elizabeth Geib of Portage, Michigan passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Woods Bowers and Mary Ella Bowers; and her brother Robert Bowers. She is survived by: her children, Mark Geib (Esther) of Portage, Sandra Jean Evans (Daniel) of Durham, NC, David Geib (Jerri Lynn) of Lawton and Carl Geib (Amy) of Kalamazoo; her grandchildren, Stephen Geib (Maribel), Kayla Evers (Jeremy), Anthony Evans, Maria Winn (Justin), Jaelyn Geib, Thomas Geib, Cooper Geib, Ellie Geib and Christopher Geib; and her great grandchildren, Alia Evans, Taylor Winn and Liam Dunning. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and numerous friends.
Betty Anne lived a full life which included her many hobbies of reading, playing bridge and Rumikub (especially with her daughter Sandra Jean and son-in-law Dan nightly during the pandemic), cheering on the Chicago Cubs, attending the theater, eating her favorite foods, and spending time with others.
