She was predeceased by: her parents, Dick Kuiper and Helen Kuiper (Grimmius); her husband Howard Slager; and her siblings, Matthew D. Kuiper, John D. Kuiper (Cora), Henry D. Kuiper (Ruth), Rev. Dick Kuiper, Jr., Alice King (Bill), Betty Visker (Gerritt) and Grace Powers (Arden).
She is survived by: her children, Cheryl St (Troy), Julie Slager, Bill Slager (Jodi) and Paul Slager (Dawn); her sister Elsie VanDyke (Sam); and her sister-in-law Karen Kuiper. She is also survived by nine grandchildren; and five great grandchildren.
