With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Donald Gard of Portage, Michigan, born in Marion, Indiana, who passed away on October 23, 2021 at the age of 79. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, James Gard and Betty Gard; his brother Kevin Gard; and his uncle Danny Hazel. He is survived by: his former wife Joyce Gard; his children, Michael Gard (Anna Schmitt) and Nicole Gard; his grandchildren, Mia VandenBerg and CJ Ellis; his niece Amanda Gard; his cousins, Erin Hampshire and Rob Holderbaum; and his aunt Irene Hale.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Kalamazoo Loaves and Fishes.
