With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Donald J. Flatt of Portage, Michigan, born in Detroit, Michigan, who passed away on February 6, 2023 at the age of 77. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his mother Hazel Flatt (Wilkerson). He is survived by: his father Everett Flatt; his wife Beverly Flatt; his daughters, Julie Biron (Steve), Jeanette Kelly (Joseph), Jennifer Kloosterman (Daniel) and Janice Flatt (Kevin Hunt); and his grandchildren, Nate Biron, Ben Biron, Donovan Kelly (Christina Redmond), Caitlin Kelly (Darian Beckham), Jack Kelly, Emma Kloosterman and Ethan Kloosterman.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations in memory of Don may be made to the Knights of Columbus Council, the Catholic Charities, or Alternatives of Kalamazoo.
