He was predeceased by: his father Garrett Durian; and his sister Phyllis Dykstra. He is survived by: his wife Ruth Durian; his sons, Matthew Durian (Lisa) and Richard Durian (Beth); his grandchildren, Richard Jacob Durian, Claire Emily Kelley (Connor), LillieAnn Rose Durian, Richelle Jordan Durian and Nicolas Matthew Durian; and his sisters, Jeanne Smit and Ruthie Gruizenga.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial donations be made in Dick's memory to the Kalamazoo Gospel Mission or to Converge Community Church.
