He was predeceased by: his parents, Virginia French and Russell French; his aunt Barbara Massey; his parents-in-law, Harold Mackie and Annabelle Mackie; and his niece Christie Mackie.
He is survived by: his wife Carol (Mackie); his daughters, Diane Stone (Mike), Lisa Denstorff (Rick) and Tracey Maltby (Jay); his grandchildren, Danielle Stone, Nicholas Stone, Clay Denstorff, Christopher Maltby and Susanna Maltby; his siblings, Mary Jo Weller and Russ French; his brother-in-law James Mackie (Chris); his nieces and nephews, Michelle Evans, Lisa Sue Mackie, Jim Mackie, Mackenzie Mackie and Nick Mackie; and his cousin Mike Belongie (Cindy).
A reception will be held on Monday, November 25th 2024 from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Avink, McCowen & Secord Funeral Home and Cremation Society (5975 Lovers Ln, Portage, MI 49002). A prayer will be held on Monday, November 25th 2024 at 4:00 PM at the same location.
