Though Beverly may no longer walk beside us, her memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Beverly touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. She was predeceased by: her parents, Willard Wood and Hazel Wood (Williams). She is survived by: her husband Richard Arlon Hargie; her granddaughter Cecily Guarisco; her stepgrandson Brandon Lankerd; and her siblings, Don Wood (Ruth) of Indiana, Gary Wood (Kathy) of Schoolcraft and Janet Stein (Jeff) of Ionia. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Visitation was held on Thursday, December 19th 2024 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Avink, McCowen & Secord Funeral Home (5975 Lovers Ln, Portage, MI 49002). A funeral service was held on Thursday, December 19th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the Ft. Custer National Cemetery.
