He was predeceased by: his parents, William Joseph and Charlotte Badenoch Shannon (Scott); his wife Mary "May" MacDonald; and his sister Margaret Emily Galloway. He is survived by: his children, Scott Shannon (Maria) of Plymouth, IN and Lynn Kay (Barry) of Scotland; his grandchildren, Victoria Shannon, Devin Shannon, Shay Shannon, Catherine "Katy" Kay, Victoria Wilson, David Kay and Samantha Kay; his great grandchildren, Maxine, Conlin, Roman, Remy, Leah, Lucy and Innes; and his great great grandchild Cassie.
