He was predeceased by: his parents, Benjamin Bowden and Eva Bowden (Oakley); his wife Guyla Bowden; and his sister Joyce Otten. He is survived by: his children, Brett Bowden (Julie) and Lisa Chapman; his grandchildren, Zach Bowden (Leeann), Benjamin Bowden (Emily) and Tayler Chapman; his great grandchild Adalie; his son-in-law Don Chapman; his close friend Chris Preston; and his pet Angel.
A memorial service was held on Saturday, January 25th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the 12th Street Baptist Church (3911 S 12th St, Kalamazoo, MI 49009).
