With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Barbara Jean Bennett of Portage, Michigan, born in Kalamazoo, Michigan, who passed away on August 3, 2024 at the age of 93. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Cecil Sellers and Fern Dell (Ellard); her son Henry Amey Jr.; her daughter-in-law Mary Amey; her granddaughter Aimee Ouding; and her great grandchild Alaina Grace Hembree.
She is survived by: her husband Richard Bennett; her children, Sharon Rosema (Bruce), Jesse Amey (Nancy) and Robert Amey; her granddaughters, Jessica Hembree (Jeremy) and Jenny Ouding; her great grandchildren, Jameson and Braden Hembree; and her stepchildren, Rick Bennett and Pam Moberley. She is also survived by several grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
